Ever feel like there's nothing to do in Alabama? Yeah, I've been there too. These are places I have either been to, or places I am hoping to visit. Whether you are a native to Alabama, or visiting for a little get away, there are almost endless places to visit and activities to partake in.

1. Lake Martin

Location: in the counties of Tallapoosa, Elmore, and Coosa. Pictured is Chimney Rock, a popular jumping spot on the lake.

2. Harmony Park Safari

Location: Huntsville, AL. While you drive through this zoo, many exotic and endangered animals will likely peek through your car window for some petting time.

3. Ave Maria Grotto

Location: Cullman, AL. For those of you dreaming to go to Jerusalem, here's the miniature(and cheaper) version!

4. Noccalula Falls

Location: Gadsden, AL. Visit the top of Lookout Mountain for the view of a 90ft waterfall.

5. Lake Eufaula
