6 Things That Happen In Your Last Month Of College

Ah, sweet sweet college. Between all the friends you make, all the parties you go to and all the school sponsored events you attend- it's hard to imagine what you're going to do next year without it all. As you begin to descend into your final month of college, you start to think about all those things that will fill those college voids so ...

1. You panic.

You begin to think about all those things past your diploma: you need a job, you need a place to live, and new friends in this new place? Forget it, your emotions are high and you don't want to even think about anything in your perfect little college bubble having to change.

2. You cry.

This and your "panic" stage go hand-and-hand. You cry because that job you want so badly hasn't called you back. You cry because the thought of leaving your friends and roommates is unbearable. You cry because no one is going to be able to understand you like your friends and your roommates. And let's be honest, sometimes you even cry at the thought of a 40-hour work week next year instead of sleeping until 11 o'clock.

3. You eat at all your favorite local restaurants, as much as possible.

Scenario 1: You're moving away and you won't be able to get that famous townie burger when you're hungry after studying on a random Wednesday night.

Scenario 2: Between trying to balance all the going out you're making sure you get in before graduation and all the studying you have to do to make sure you pass your classes before graduation ... grocery shopping well, isn't an option.

4. You begin to take an obscene number of pictures.

It's your last month (panic again). You need to remember how fun your college experience was, so you start snapping like crazy. Yeah, there's that one friend who will constantly get annoyed because she feels like she's always taking the picture instead of being in it, but hey, you need to remember this, it'll be interesting in twenty years, instead of telling stories to our kids about college, we'll be showing them our saved snap stories.

5. You, shockingly, put your Netflix show on the back burner.

Crazy, right?! You never thought you'd be able to pull yourself away from that cliff-hanging episode of Grey's Anatomy but here you are. The weather is getting nicer, the days are getting longer, and you are (*panic*) running out of days to be a college delinquent, for lack of better words.

6. You cherish the little moments.

The little moments, ya know. Like when you're at lunch with some of your closest friends and you realize how lucky you are to have them in your life. Or when you're out at a party and you stop and think, "Man, I'll never be this young and free again." College has a funny way of teaching us some of our biggest life lessons, helping us overcome some of our biggest struggles, and really putting life into perspective.

College, I'll miss ya man. It was a fun ride.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
