Cue the eye roll.

6 Faces Every College Girl Makes Throughout the Day

Though many of us lovely college ladies pride ourselves on being 'unique' or 'different', we really aren't. Aside from personality, we all love our yoga pants, intagram, and wine. As a population, we share more in common then we care to admit.

Like our facial expressions. The ones we make everyday, without fail, at least once.

1. The Eye Roll

Really, this is a staple in every college girl's facial arsenal. Whether it's because the guy next to use said something stupid, or our professor said something like "The test will be all short answer", this face is a refined expressor of our true feelings. It comes in handy 24/7, and is most common.

2. The Polite Smile

Ugh, do I actually HAVE to say hi at the girl that sits next to me in lecture? I mean, we don't really talk... But she did give me her notes when I skipped... I guess I can smile... -- what every girl thinks when she's about to pass someone she only sorta knows. The polite smile is a key face that keeps us on good terms with 80% of the population. Utterly important to perfect this early on, and utilize it often.

3. The Fake Laugh

Whatever was said definitely wasn't that funny, but you feel obligated to at least chuckle. This face is used out of courtesy, and a little more often then it should be. Nevertheless, it is key in maintaining a good social standing.

4. The Mocking Bird

Ahh, a classic. Yes, it may make us look like we're back in elementary school, but this face will never not be used. Maybe we're mocking the person that brags about everything, or maybe our professor really rubbed us the wrong way today. This face will always be relevant.

5. The Confused

Literally, IDK dude. Just send help.

6. The Look of Despair

Between clubs, classes, and a social life, many of us feel like we're drowning. At least once everyday we just stare at our planners and try not to cry. We know we do this to ourselves, but still-- in the moment of realization that we have an exam the day after that formal hurts the soul.

Granted, some of us make these faces more that others, but it is still. Embrace it! Show the world how you REALLY feel!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

school
blogspot

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

legally blonde
Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
