Being a makeup addict can become a bit pricey but, if you really look into makeup reviews, you may find that some "drugstore" products are preferred over "high end" products. I have quite a large makeup collection, it's actually really hard to decide what I want to bring with me to college. Over the years I have tried multiple high end and multiple drugstore products. I have put together a list of inexpensive yet high quality products everyone should try!
1. Morphe Palettes.
You may have seen this beautifully stunning palette before. This is the famous 35O from Morphe. I have this palette and it is absolutely stunning, the pigmentation is insane. The palette is only $22.99 it's incrediably affordable and any makeup lover should own a Morphe palette.
2. Wet N Wild Brushes.
Wet N Wild brushes live up to their hype. They are so cheap, at first I was hesitant to purchase one because I didn't know how well the quality would be for such a low price. They lived up to my expectations and I love them just as much as I love my high end brushes.
3. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation.
I have oily skin, like really oily, as if there was an oil spill on my face. The Maybelline Fit me! Matte + Poreless foundation is my holy grail. I also have the dewy smooth one which, doesn't make sense for me to have because of how oily I am but, they're both AMAZING. They last for hours, they're very light on the skin, and they don't appear cakey. I pick this foundation up way more than my Tarte foundations.
4. Maybelline Face Studio Master Fix Setting Loose Powder.
Clearly I favor Maybelline products, Maybelline is hands down my favorite drugstore makeup brand EVER. Before I had any high end products, all I bought was Maybelline. This loose powder is another product I pick over a Tarte product.
5. Nyx Matte Setting Spray.
Let's be honest, the Urban Decay setting spray is AMAZING but so pricey. Nyx has a matte finish setting spray OR a dewy finish setting spray. Way more affordable than Urban Decay.
6. Colourpop Matte Lipsticks.
Colourpop Matte Lipsticks live up to their hype. I believe they are made in the same exact factory as Kylie Jenner's lipsticks. A lot of youtube beauty guru's said the formulas are almost identical, even the packaging is identical. Colourpop lipsticks are only $6, making them way cheaper than Kylie's lipsticks. You also have a larger range of color selections with Colourpop as well. You'll be able to find some dupes of Kylie's on their websites! 10/10 recommend. I love their satin ones too!
