Have you ever been watching a television show or movie and thought to yourself, “Wow, that person is perfect. I wish I could have the chance to meet this person.” Sometimes these fictional characters grow on us and we find ourselves wishing we could have the opportunity to be friends with or maybe even go on a date with them.

Although we can’t date fictional characters, we can dream, right? Here are six fictional characters you might find on your dream date list.

Tim Riggins – "Friday Night Lights"

Tim Riggins is an all-star football player for the Dillon Panthers in the hit show “Friday Night Lights.” He is mysterious and so mature for his age. Something about his deep voice and long hair paired with his maturity and athleticism really creates the perfect dream guy.

Brooke Davis – "One Tree Hill"

Brooke Davis is the typical “popular girl” at her high school in the show “One Tree Hill." She is the beautiful cheerleader who is friends with everyone and gets any guy she wants. Alongside her best friend, Payton, she is unstoppable. Her love of life and attitude are simply amazing. She is truly outstanding and turns out to be very inspirational.

Derek Shepard – "Grey’s Anatomy"

My personal favorite is Derek Shepard, aka “McDreamy,” which is fact in itself. He is so dreamy and so mysterious. He knows what he wants and he is so successful. I think the thing that makes all "Grey’s" lovers love him is the way he loves and cares for Meredith. His death in the show was tragic and his fans still are wondering why he had to go.

Noah – "The Notebook"

From the beginning of the movie, Noah is a go-getter. He sees what he likes and goes after it. He fell in love with Allie before even truly knowing her. His character is something every girl dreams of: a man who never gives up on his true love even in times of tragedy or despair. I mean, what guy would create his love’s dream home in order to get her back? What a guy!

Rachel Green – "Friends"

Rachel Green is a fictional character on the ever-so-famous show, “Friends." We instantly grow a friendship with her from the time she walks into Central Perk in her wedding gown. She is beautiful and witty and just a great time. When the show ended, Rachel Green continued to live.

Tarzan – Disney’s "Tarzan"

I couldn’t leave out animated characters, could I? Since I was a young girl, I always thought Tarzan was so brave and I hoped one day I would be a real life Jane who found a man that nobody thought I could be with but did it anyway. He may be a man of the jungle but his heart is as big as the trees he swings from.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
