6 Cutest Animal Videos Of 2017
Baby Fiona

Today we'll be looking at the 6 cutest animal videos of 2017 so far. We've got parrots, tigers, hippos and so much more! If you're looking for adorable, we've got it in spades, so get scrolling!

Before we begin, I'd like to give a huge shout out to my co-author and partner in crime, Natalie Rader!

Without her, none of these videos would have been made available for your viewing pleasure (and you'd probably be getting a bunch of dog videos).

#6. Cute Elephants playing with visitors

I mean, this is just adorable. Who wouldn't love cuddles with Dumbo? On behalf of our grandmother (an avid collector of all things elephant), we wanted everyone to feel a little elephant love.

The elephant napping to a lullaby made us coo with big adorable heart emojis. <3 <3 <3

#5. Baby Fiona plays with water

Baby Fiona has been all the rage here in Cincinnati, so we thought it only best to include a cute video of her in action for all the world to see. Born 6 weeks premature, this beautiful creature is a walking miracle.

For more information, feel free to check out the Baby Fiona Blog.

#4. Playful Baby Wolf

Shadow, a grey wolf pup, is absolutely adorable. It's so nice seeing a puppy getting the pampering they deserve, and this playful pup was just too delightful to pass up.

While normally not so friendly in the wild, it's extraordinary to see how growing up alongside humans can establish such strong friendships between animal and man.

#3. Baby Leopard and Puppy are best friends

Who said dogs and cats couldn't be friends? Watching these two play is nothing short of a spectacle. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did! :)

On a side note, yay me for sneaking another dog into this list!

#2. Wild Horses Playing

Natalie loves horses, and watching these two frolic about was amazing. They're even dressed for the big show.

And without further ado,

#1 A parrot and his pet baby! (Or is the other way around? Hmm...)

Soooooooo freaking adorable! The boy and his parrot literally give each other harmless little nibbles. And the parrot defends the child when the cameraman tries to stick their hand too close to his friend! Take that, paparazzi!

We hope you enjoyed the cute animal videos that we found, and look forward to doing another edition soon. If you see some (or capture!) some cute animal videos this year, be sure to send them our way via email to radeda@yahoo.com. If you can, please send links to the videos. We'll gladly look them over and choose the cutest of the bunch!

Please feel free to drop a comment and definitely pass this along to your friends. Let the cuteness take over the Internet! We could all use a breath of fresh air and laughter.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
