It's late Friday night and you're either to lazy to go out or you have no worthy friends. Hence, you grab a pizza, snuggle in bed, and turn on Netflix. Then, if your like me, you spend longer deciding what show you're going to watch than you spend actually watching the show. Throughout days of this scavenger hunt, I have found a few show that are made to be binge-watched by teenagers like us. Enjoy!

1. Grey's Anatomy

Recently the show has taken a downturn, for all the original characters have died or been sent away and those that replace them are just not the same. It seems as if Shonda Rhimes is almost dragging the show to its end. However, despite its medical inaccuracy, the first few seasons of this show are exceptionally entertaining and perfect for binge-watching. The show is filled with drama, humor, and eccentric medical cases you won't see anywhere else. So, pick it, choose it, love it as Meredith says.

2. Friends

While Grey's Anatomy has is full of heavy, nail-biting moments, Friends is filled with light-hearted relevant comedy that is one of a kind. If you had a bad day or need to take your mind off the clowns running around outside, this is the show for you.

3. The Flash

The Flash, as most superhero movies are, is based off the comics, so if you've read the comics and want to see the characters come alive turn on Netflix. Even if you have not read the comics and are not a huge superhero fan, this can still be a great show for you. It is filled with humor, drama, action, and Grant Gustin.

4. Stranger Things

The airing of this show was fairly recent and took most by surprise at how well it was received. Although it is slightly creepy and mainly based on mild horror and suspense, it also features mystery and mild romance. Another attractive element of this show is the fact that children play many of the main characters. This unique show will have you hooked.

5. Quantico

This suspenseful and dramatic show follows the life of Alex Parish, FBI trainee, and her friends while they set out to train on camp while handling numerous scandals of their own. If you're looking for a show to capture your full attention, check it out.

6. One Tree Hill

Although this show may not be appealing at first, it gets better-I promise. This Romantic-Drama tells the story of life while mimicking (with a slight over exaggeration) the stories of high school children. Hence, if you're looking for a light-hearted show to pass time, catch One Tree Hill on Netflix.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
