For those who didn't know, Starbucks has a secret menu. This menu is filled with unique drink combinations that you won't find on the regular menu. With summer coming up, everyone wants a refreshing drink to sip on the beach, in the park, or in the office wishing you were outside. These are drinks for everyone, including non coffee drinkers. Not all beverages are popularly known so I added the recipe that you can give the barista. Here are some of my favorites for this summer.
1. Peach Apple Lemonade
Take advantage of the seasonal ingredients with this peach apple lemonade. It is perfect for a light, fruity beverage and a great coffee alternative. It's also kid friendly!
Recipe:
- Lemonade to first line
- Apple juice to second line
- Add peach syrup (3 pumps tall, 5 grande, 7 venti)
2. Raspberry Caramel Macchiato
Besides how delicious this drink is the color is just as beautiful. This drink is made just as a Caramel Macchiato is made, but instead of vanilla syrup they add raspberry syrup for a fruity change of flavor.
Recipe:
From bottom to top it goes, raspberry syrup, ice, milk, espresso, then caramel on top!
3. Sweet n' Sour Summer Splasher
This drink is fruity, energizing and perfect for a sunny day out and about. This is one of my favorite creative drinks for the summer and can be made with any of your favorite Refresher Flavors
Recipe:
- Half and half or both Refresher Flavors (Berry Hibiscus and Cool Lime)
- Made with lemonade instead of water
- Blended like a Frappuccino
4. Strawberry Lemonade Tea
This combination is perfect for someone who is craving both a fruiting, refreshing lemonade and a black iced tea at the same time. With a slight caffeine fix and a sunny lemonade flavor, it has been a big hit so far.
Recipe:
- Strawberry lemonade with equal parts black iced tea and lemonade
- Half the regular amount of strawberry
- Blend and enjoy!
5. Orange Drink
The title of this drink isn't creative but the drink sure is. It's bright like the sun and so is the flavor! Also, you'll probably get a lot of likes on a picture of this drink.
Recipe:
- Orange mango juice
- Add vanilla bean powder
- Add coconut milk
- If your Starbucks has orange slices, add a few of those slices too!
6. Fruity Pebble Frappucino
Fruity pebbles cereal was a popular childhood favorite and now you can get it in a new and improved version. This drink is adventurous, icy, and colorful!
Recipe:
- Start with a Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino
- Add Vanilla Syrup (2 pumps tall, 2.5 pumps grande, 3 pumps venti)
- Add Raspberry Syrup (1/2 pump tall, 1 pump grande, 1.5 pumps venti)
- Add Classic Syrup (1/2 pump tall, 1 pump grande, 1.5 pumps venti)
- Optional: Have the Barista throw in a bit of orange mango juice as well for extra fruit flavour
And there you have it!
