I am a serious skincare addict. I’m not kidding. I actually need an intervention. Please help...Anyways, as I was saying, I have accumulated a bunch of different (perhaps somewhat unknown) sources of skincare information. Brace yourself; you’re about to be hit with a wave of all things skincare.
1. The Snailcast
If you're a beginner to K-Beauty and the 10-step routine, then kick back and prepare to binge all of the episodes. Honestly, Chel, Fiddy, Tracy and Snow present skincare in such a digestible and friendly way that it'd be impossible not to enjoy this podcast.
2. Simple Skincare Science
A somewhat hidden gem, this blog is so comprehensive and thorough in every review and article. It's hard not to fall down the rabbit hole, but don't worry, it's worthwhile. A few days later, when you emerge, you'll be a bonafide expert.
3. Caroline Hirons
I know I've mentioned her before, but come on. She's amazing and her work in the industry makes her a reliable source. Plus, she's hilarious and gives information minus all of that ridiculous jargon.
4. Stephanie Nicole
Stephanie is like Caroline's twin, but she works in the beauty industry rather than the skincare industry. However, she does mind-bogglingly thorough research on all of her videos (I'm talking links and sources out the wazoo). There's something for everyone on her channel.
5. Gothamista
Renee leans more towards K-beauty, but she also does reviews of Western brands, and she also works in the industry. I trust her whole-heartedly, and her videos are super soothing to watch because her presentation style is so relaxing.
6. r/SkincareAddiction
Whether you want to look through other people's routines or want to ask a question to fellow skincare addicts, this subreddit is perfect. Personally, giving skincare advice is something I love doing (warranted or not), and here I can give some of my knowledge to others who might need it (granted, I'm no expert).
