These awesome trails will make you want to pull out your hiking boots and plan your next road trip!
1. Cohab Canyon Trail, Capital Reef, UT
This lesser-visited national park allows you to explore some trails off the beaten path.
2. Horseshoe Bend, Page, AZ
An easy, under one-mile hike that leads to a breathtaking view, which is one of the most photographed spots in the U.S.
3. The Narrows, Zion National Park, Springdale, UT
Take your hiking skills to the next level as you navigate the rocky bottom of the Virgin River. With the water rushing past you and sometimes waist-deep, you will certainly feel like a professional hiker. Remember to look up at the slot canyon's impressive, thousand-foot walls!
4. Queens Garden Trail, Bryce Canyon, Moab, UT
Most visitors walk this trail top to bottom, my family, however, decided to hike it bottom to top. Although this made the hike a little more challenging, I think it made the view of "Wall Street," a series of rock formations inside the canyon, even more incredible.
5. Canyon X, Page, AZ
Owned by a Navajo Family, the walk through this vast canyon offers magnificent views of the smooth rock walls. (Another benefit of walking through Canyon X is that it's much less crowded than Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon).
