As much as I like to complain about my life, it's pretty great. Yes, I'm in debt and I can't find a summer job, but I have amazing parents who are willing to help me in anyway possible. The community I have at my university and at home has helped me make it this far. I am privileged to have the home and education I have, as are most of the people I encounter every day. My city and my nation are not perfect, but they are leaps and bounds better than other places and situations I could've been born into. Myself, and the people around me have made a habit about complaining about everything. Yes, there are lots of things to complain about, even for privileged people. But there are lots of things that we forget to be grateful for, and I want to take time to point some of those out to help myself, along with anyone else who's interested in thinking a little more positive today.
