The average American will live to be 71 years old, that's 25,915 days. Those are the days we have to build our relationships. I'm not just talking about boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. These relationships started at the beginning of you birth when your parents were your first relationship you had. You began building relationships with friends and other family members. During the beginning you didn't have a choice of those relationships, they were just given to you.

Once we have developed our own ways and now have the choice to pick what relationships we pursue, this is the most important time of our lives. People are made to have connections with other people, but sometimes we can neglect that important aspect. We stick to ourselves or work our lives away without making a difference in someone else's life. The relationships we build affect we we become and can change our whole personality.

You build relationships with friends and friends of friends, you choose to work on those connections or burn them completely. We make conscious decisions based on whether those relationships are healthy for us or not. We work on the relationships we think will benefit us, but what about the relationships that won't? What happened to the thoughtless wave or the small talk in the coffee line? What if you had just the right words to say to the person who wasn't able to see the good in all their misfortune's.

These small, maybe meaningless, conversations may mean the absolute world to someone who doesn't have anyone else. What pain would it cause you to make that effort to help someone or give them a "Hello." They may just be simple words that could change a person's life and you may never know.

This life is way too short to live a selfish life. To live in a life that's too focused on themselves instead of the things that can make a difference in someone else's life. We are distracted by our own troubles that we push back the thought that somebody else's could be bigger than our own. We don't know what the little difference could make, so why not try. There's nothing to lose when we put someone else above ourselves.

Time is the only thing that is against us. We can't get any of our time back. We only have this one life to live and so many days before it's gone. Tomorrow is not guaranteed for us all and every chance we get should be about making a difference on this earth. No matter how small or how big, change is always possible.

What will you do with the rest of your days?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
