Think not about your current self, but your future self. The person you will be in a day, a month, a year, 10 years... However far away, this decision will affect you. Is it going to change you that much? Will you regret not doing what you intended to? If you answered no, you can click on another article such as this Odyssey article for coffee lovers or this one about Trump and Clinton and keep procrastinating whatever it is you should probably be doing.
If your answer was yes, then crack down. Think of all the ways your work today will help you tomorrow. Remember all the free time you could potentially have, or the more productive you could be if you were productive now. I know it seems like you have time, or you can get it all done in one shot, but that is a recipe for stress. You will feel overwhelmed, and you will probably regret waiting all that time. So why wait?
Clear the space around you, and clear your head. Pick up whatever is on the ground, all the clutter on your desk, and organize the room around you. The space in which you work can either make or break your productivity. Give yourself a time span for work and a time span for a break. By promising yourself that you will only work for 25 minutes and you get a 10-minute break, you will be more likely to power through those 25 minutes so you can have a rewarding break. Come up with a simple reward for yourself (like treating yourself to a coffee after you're done), and then just jump in. If you don't start working immediately, and you continue procrastinating, there is a lesser chance of you finishing your work.
It is always easier to say "Oh, I can do that tomorrow," rather than "I'm going to stay in and finish my project tonight." It will never be easy to give up a Netflix session or a night out with friends to complete and assignment or application. That said, try and get in the habit of giving up a few nights a week and devoting yourself solely to your goal. By allowing yourself 2 nights out a week rather than 4 or 5, you are gaining so much more time to be productive. It is necessary to dedicate time to the important things in life like work and school, and by gaining 12 or so extra hours a week to work and accomplish your goals, you will also gain pride in yourself.
When your hard work pays off, you will realize how proud of yourself you feel. And being proud of yourself is so much better than going out to fool around for a night. There are countless people in this world who have regrets in their lives -- one of them being not working hard enough. Many students and adults alike have expressed regret for presenting the bare minimum require of them. Don't be like the whole of them. Do everything you can now to live a life with no regrets. Work hard now to see major results later.
So what are you still doing here? Go and do what you need to do -- work hard and live with no regrets.
