50 Ways To Say "I Love You"

For someone whose love language is verbal affirmation, I adore hearing the words "I love you" from someone that means a great deal to me. I recently have opened up my arms to other ways that people express how much they love me, that don't necessarily have the word "love" in them. The following is a list of things that people say and do, that make me feel pretty darned loved.

1. "Are you okay?"

2. "Do you need anything?"

3. "Yes, I'll buy you tampons."

4. Buys tampons for me.

5. "Do you need some vitamins?"

6. "Let me give you something for that cough."

7. Hugs

8. Kisses

9. Eskimo kisses

10. Cuddles

11. Snuggles

12. "Text me if you need anything"

13. "Can I buy you a gift?"

14. "I want to get you something special"

15. "Text me when you get there"

16. "Please don't text and drive"

17. "Drive safely"

18. "The roads are slippery"

19. "Do you want me to drive you?"

20. "How's school?"

21. "How's work?"

22. "Can I take your plate?"

23. "Have you eaten today?"

24. "What did you eat today?"

25. "Do you have food?"

26. "Do you need food?"

27. Buys me food.

28. "You want me to get you coffee?"

29. Gets me coffee.

30. "How was your day?"

31. "I want to know you favorite part of the day?"

32. "Let's watch movies together"

33. "Wanna go for a run?"

34. "Let's do zumba together?"

35. "Make sure you wear your seat belt"

36. "Please don't talk to strangers"

37. "Always look around you if you're in a strange place"

38. "Do you want me to walk you to your car?"

39. "Let me get that" - door

40. Opens doors

41. Carries book bags

42. "You look good"

43. "You are special"

44. "I miss you"

45. "I want you"

46. "I need you"

47. "You're gonna do great."

48. "I believe in you"

49. "I trust you"

50. "I want to be with you forever"

I constantly feel loved around the people that are most important to me. Don't forget that some people show their love in actions, in caring for you and about you, and in so many other ways than just "I love you".

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
