Starting college is a scary thing, especially when you are moving away from home. Suddenly, you are forced to do everything that your parents once did for you. You find yourself having to learn to "adult" on your own. Here are some of the most common thoughts that incoming freshmen students have.

1. I wonder what it is going to be like not living at home

2. How long is it going to be until my mom and dad call me to check in?

3. Freedom finally

4. What are my classes going to be like?

5. College boys

6. Older boys

7. I wonder what my roommate is like

8. I hope I get along with my roommate

9. My friend became my roommate!

10. Oh, I hope rooming with my friend is not going to ruin our friendship

11. I cannot wait to see the campus in the fall

12. Speaking of fall, I hope our coffee shops carry pumpkin spice

13. How do you decorate your dorm when you have cement walls?

14. I hate that we do not have a personal bathroom

15. I wonder what it is going to be like to share a bathroom with guys and girls

16. I hope that the freshman 15 does not apply to me

17. I hope I do not get judged for being a big girl in the gym

18. I wonder if the classes are as hard as they said they were in high school

19. Do your professors really cancel class because they do not feel like showing up?

21. I do not think I will miss home as much as everyone says I will

22. How am I going to have "me" time?

23. Am I going to be able to balance out work and school?

24. What if I cannot find a job right away?

25. If I cannot find a job, how will I pay for my car?

26. Was it crazy of me to decide to sign up to start paying off my student loans during school?

27. I wonder if people will like me

28. Is it hard making friends in college?

29. I hate that all my friends and I are all going to different colleges

30. The campus is not too big, but I still think that I am going to get lost

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.
