There may come a time in your college career when the unthinkable happens: you are the token single friend. Not that this is a bad thing at all. It simply means that while the rest of your friends are ~canoodling~ with their significant others instead of you, you can do all of these amazing activities while "finding yourself" and "waiting for the right guy," and whatever other excuse you're currently making for not yet being wifed up. So, from one third wheel to another, here are 50 things to do to pass the time while your Prince Charming seems to be stuck in traffic:

1. Spend a whole day on Pinterest planning your wedding.

2. Do some serious stalking on your ex's new girl.

3. Try to find spoilers for Mean Girls: The Musical.

4. Paint a few canvases.

5. Give some to friends.

6. Rearrange your furniture.

7. Learn how to meal-prep.

8. Find a new Netflix binge (I suggest The Vampire Diaries).

9. Go through your clothes and sell some to Plato's Closet.

10. Then take that money and treat yourself to some new clothes.

11. Stalk the cast of "Saved By the Bell" and find out where they are now.

12. Prank call random numbers and see how long the conversation can last.

13. Reactivate your Webkinz account.

14. Read the entire Harry Potter Series.

15. Re-read the entire Harry Potter series.

16. Then watch all of the Harry Potter movies.

17. Drive to another college campus and use their library.

18. Make Christmas cookies.

19. Eat them all.

20. Don't share.

21. Get your nose pierced (actual thing that I did LOL).

22. Join match.com.

23. Join farmersonly.com.

24. Maybe even christianmingle.com too if you're into that.

25. Steal someone's dog.

26. Jk don't actually steal it but find one and play with it forever.

27. Learn every word of the Hamilton soundtrack.

28. Go to Barnes & Noble and buy a book just because you like the cover.

29. Start a blog.

30. Go to the gym.

31. Learn calligraphy.

32. Teach yourself German.

33. Re-learn the Soulja Boy dance you used to do in middle school.

34. Go to a winery.

35. Buy yourself flowers.

36. Get some succulents for your windowsill.

37. Get a new hairdo.

38. Plan your next Euro-trip even though you definitely lack the sufficient funds needed to carry it out.

39. Spend 20 hours straight trolling YouTube.

40. Start collecting the “Now That’s What I Call Music” CD series. I hear they’re up to 60 now.

41. Shine all of your shoes.

42. Plan a surprise party.

43. Take a self-defense class.

44. Complete a 1,000 piece puzzle from start to finish.

45. Organize your purse.

46. Maybe even your backpack too while you’re at it.

47. Swallow a handful of buttons.

48. Tape your eyes open just to see if it works.

49. Drink a whole bottle of wine.

50. Find some single friends.

Okay, so a few of these are a little outlandish. BUT! Don't be afraid to be alone. Because in the words of my favorite fictional character Carrie Bradshaw, "The most exciting, challenging, and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous."

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
