50 Things To Do Before Summer Is Over

Summer can be some of the best months of your life. Why waste them?

  1. Take a road trip with your best friends.
  2. Spend one full day doing absolutely nothing.
  3. Go to the drive-in movie theater and eat LOTS of popcorn.
  4. Camp in a tent (yes a tent) for a weekend.
  5. Pitch the tent that you’re gonna sleep in.
  6. Eat more fruit than usual.
  7. Dye your hair a different color.
  8. Then dye it back cause you will probably regret it.
  9. Ride on the back of a motorcycle (preferably with a cute boy… and a helmet).
  10. Tell your friends how much you love them over and over again.
  11. Buy a fanny pack, and rock that shit.
  12. Make a Build-a-Bear.
  13. Try to go to the gym at least three times a week. **Try**
  14. Ride carnival rides (maybe with the cute boy that has the motorcycle).
  15. Spend a night in the back of a truck with lots and lots of blankies.
  16. Lay out on the beach.
  17. Start a journal and write in it consistently.
  18. Bake a cake.
  19. Have a craft day.
  20. Try a food you have never tried before.
  21. Buy a bucket hat, and rock that shit with your fanny pack.
  22. Tie-dye a t-shirt.
  23. Go to a music festival.
  24. Learn how to shoot a gun, just cause.
  25. Clean your room SPOTLESS.
  26. Pierce something.
  27. Buy a new pair of expensive shoes to spoil yourself.
  28. Get a job to afford your new shoe addiction.
  29. Watch the sunset.
  30. Then watch the sunrise.
  31. Take a nap in a hammock.
  32. Read a book.
  33. If you liked the book, reread it.
  34. Get a snap streak up to 100 days.
  35. If you are hungry, eat.
  36. Build a sand castle.
  37. Catch fireflies.
  38. Have a barbeque.
  39. Play Marco Polo in the lake.
  40. Get that tattoo that you have been debating.
  41. Audition for something.
  42. Go to a waterpark and ride a waterslide.
  43. Take a LOT of pictures, and I mean A LOT.
  44. Go a whole week without using social media.
  45. Write a letter to someone you love.
  46. Carve your initials into a tree.
  47. Have a water balloon fight.
  48. Go fishing and catch something.
  49. Make a pizza on the grill (oooo yum).
  50. Fall in love with being alive.

If you don't get to do anything else on this entire list, please make sure you do the last one.

xoxo

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
