Sometimes, we think of happiness as these big, momentous moments. In all reality, the happiest moments, at least to me, are the most unexpected ones. It’s the moments that slip your mind, but when you pause and think about it, it’s these moments that make you the happiest. Here are 50 little moments that I’m sure will bring you happiness:

  1. Iced Caramel Macchiatos from Starbucks.
  2. Dogs, more specifically, pugs.


  3. Friends that will dance with you on elevated surfaces.
  4. Cheese fries enough said.
  5. The fact that eleven seasons of Grey’s Anatomy are available on Netflix. Hello, Patrick Dempsey.



  6. Your favorite song coming on the radio. A jam session will inevitably follow.
  7. Harry Potter weekends on ABC Family (or Freeform, as it’s now called)
  8. The sale section at Urban Outfitters.
  9. Getting a new crop top and feeling ~good~
  10. Having the perfect filter/caption for your Instagram.
  11. When your tweet gets a lot of favorites, and you feel like a comedian.
  12. When you have every word memorized to that new song.
  13. Road trips to Chipotle.
  14. The fact that the weekend will inevitably come (the weekend starts Thursday FYI).
  15. The weather. Hi Spring, I’ve missed you so much.
  16. Having good hair days, and feeling like you could co-star in a Pantene commercial with Selena Gomez.



  17. Baking cookies, and sharing them with friends. Or eating them all by yourself. Both will make you happy.
  18. Waking up and blasting music and dancing around.
  19. Good books. Because no matter what is changing around you, your favorite book is always there to welcome you home.



  20. Talking about nothing with your best friends.
  21. Knowing that your siblings that will always be there for you.


  22. Studying really hard and acing that test.
  23. When your eyeliner and brows are on point.
  24. Ice skating on floors in fuzzy socks, I know you know what I’m talking about.
  25. Living in a suite and having access to seven other closets.
  26. How hot Justin Bieber is.



  27. Buzzfeed quizzes, yes, I actually did want to know what kind of pop tart I would be. Thanks, Buzzfeed.
  28. Ben and Jerry’s half baked ice cream. Half brownie, half cookie dough, one hundred percent delicious.
  29. Going for a long run and feeling on top of the world.
  30. Tea. Honestly, is there a more soothing drink?



  31. Having a fully charged phone.
  32. Getting a compliment from a stranger on your outfit.
  33. Kanye West’s tweets.
  34. The fact that Jojo is the next Bachelorette.
  35. June 17th, 2016 (the day "Finding Dory"is released)


  36. Bitmoji, if you don’t know what it is, download it, you won’t be sorry.
  37. Pretty throw pillows, and even prettier quilts.
  38. The fact that study abroad exists.
  39. Dancing it out to Taylor Swift.



  40. Being able to call your best friend in the middle of the night, and knowing she’ll answer.



  41. Getting a 100 on a pop quiz (or doing well, hey, C’s get degrees am I right?)
  42. Disney movies. You’re never, ever, too old for the classics.
  43. Having friends that are just as weird as you.
  44. The fact that overall’s are totally in again.
  45. Your sorority (oh come on, you had to know this would make the list).



  46. Being a klutzy person, but somehow being gifted with the ability to run around in high heels and wedges.
  47. Living in an era where music is so easily accessible.
  48. Group chats. You can complain about them all you want, but there’s a reason you don’t remove yourself from it.
  49. Having the very best friends in existence.



  50. Knowing that even when things are hard, and life is sad, there’s enough happiness in the world that even if you don’t feel it now, someday you will.
