Sometimes It seems like the world we live in is filled with hate; that we’re are constantly surrounded by sad news, hardship, rude people, and it can really be frustrating. There are days you feel anxious, there are days you’re not your most confident, and there are certainly days that you’re not having it with life – you’re not happy.

And as cliché as it sounds, there’s actually A LOT to be happy about.

Sometimes the smallest, shortest, or most insignificant things make us the happiest - don’t negatively, or a few bumps in the road overshadow a beautiful life.

1. Feeling comfortable with someone

2. A fresh manicure and pedicure

3. Falling asleep to the sound of rain

4. Long & tight hugs

5. Knowing you’ve been missed

6. Star Gazing

7. Late night drives with the windows down

8. Eating ice cream out of the container

9. Lazy days

10. Snuggling under tons of blankets

11. The feeling you get when your favorite song comes

on the radio

12. Puppies

13. Seeing old friends after being apart for a long time

14. And knowing nothing has changed

15. Coming home after being away for awhile

16. Laughing so hard it hurts your stomach

17. Seeing your favorite artist in concert

18. Waking up and realizing you have more time to sleep

19. Freshly fallen snow

20. Snow days

21. Watching the sunset

22. Watching the sunrise

23. Date nights

24. Handwritten letters

25. Putting on warm clothes fresh out of the dryer

26. Coffee

27. Books you can’t put down

28. Drive in movies

29. Campfires

30. & Smores

31. Being told that you’ve made someone’s day

32. Hearing the doorbell ring after you’ve ordered take out

33. Looking through old photographs

34. Receiving a genuine compliment

35. Sleepovers

36. Wild Friday nights

37. But also, lazy Friday nights

38. Filled with Netflix marathons

39. Seeing your server bring your food out at a restaurant

40. Disney movies

41. Having a good hair day

42. Bubble baths

43. Finding money in a pocket you’ve forgotten about

44. Military homecoming videos

45. Baking chocolate chip cookies from scratch

46. Taking a great nap

47. Holidays

48. When someone goes out of his or her way to hold the door for you

49. Breakfast in bed

50. Family reunions

So if you’re having a bad day, or even a bad week, or month, or year, remember there’s so much to be happy about. Don’t forget about the little things, because when you add them up, they bring a whole lot of happiness.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
