I love Starbucks – their coffee, tea, bakery items and lunches. I am a sucker to try anything new they put on their menu, and I hold my coveted gold card near to my heart.

As someone who classifies herself as a “Starbucksaholic,” I am providing a list of what I think is the top seven things you should order during your next Starbucks run. Here you go:

1. White Chocolate Mocha Iced Latte

This is a classic; it contains espresso, white chocolate sauce, ice, milk and whipped cream. This espresso blend is the perfect blend of sweet and savory, and gives the drinker the option to get it hot or as a Frappuccino. This is personally one of my favorites – I highly recommend it!

2. Teavana Shaken Iced Passion Tango Tea

This is a perfect drink for summer and warm weather. Its blend of hibiscus, lemongrass, rose hips and apple flavors offer a light beverage when you’re on the go. You can also order this beverage with lemonade mixed in as well. This is one of my top options when the weather is nice outside, or I’m on my way to the park.

3. Pumpkin Bread

I love pumpkin flavored anything; I will gladly be enveloped in the smell and taste of it every day. Unfortunately, Starbucks does not offer the Pumpkin Spice Latte year round. However, they offer Pumpkin Bread 365 days a year. The spiced pumpkin bread with pepitas is a great breakfast or snack item. I highly recommend it!

4. Old-Fashioned Grilled Cheese Sandwich

The multi-grain bread and three cheese mix is a delicious lunch item. The mixture of mozzarella, cheddar and extra sharp white cheddar cheese isn’t too heavy to eat on the go, and provides a vegetarian option.

5. Cinnamon Dolce Latte

If you’re not someone who likes sweet coffee, the Cinnamon Dolce Latte is a good choice for you. The semi-bitter taste allows you to satisfy your sweet tooth, but doesn’t over power you in sugar. This beverage is available in hot, cold and as a Frappuccino. You’ll be in for a treat with this one.

6. Evolution Fresh Strawberry Banana Smoothie

The perfect combination of nonfat Greek yogurt, strawberry, banana and apple flavor makes the perfect summer day treat. This drink can be the perfect fix for when you’re craving something sweet – but also doesn’t have nearly as many calories as other alternatives.

7. Java Chip Frappuccino

For those of you that prefer a blended coffee that isn’t as strong as espresso or cold brew, a Frappuccino will be the perfect drink for you. I like the Java Chip because of the chocolaty flavor. The combination of mocha sauce and java chips is always a great choice. Also, for those of you who do not like coffee at all, the Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino offers the same great taste, but is coffee free.

Though Starbucks offers hundred of great treats, here are some of my classic favorites. However, don’t forget to try the two new drinks that just came out: Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino and the Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino, or the S’mores Frappuccino. These drinks will be great for the summer!

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
