The Oscars were pretty crazy this year, but here are some things that still don't compare to just how awkward it was.

  2. Betsy De Voss going to a public school.
  3. Sending the wrong text to your boss.
  4. Iggy Azalea’s entire career.
  5. Accidentally sending a screen shot of a conversation to the person you were texting.
  6. Hugging someone from behind, and it turns out to not be your friend.
  7. Saying, “I love you” to a stranger after a phone call.
  8. Trying to pet a dog that doesn’t want to be petted.
  9. Waving at someone who is waving at the person behind you.
  10. Giving spoilers to someone who isn’t caught up on a T.V. show.
  11. Puberty in general.
  12. Having Disney sing along marathons in your room and going downstairs only to find out your parents had guests over.
  13. Walking in early on your own surprise party.
  14. Chilling in the bathroom stall when a group walks in with juicy gossip, and now you can’t leave because it’s about you.
  15. Making eye contact with the teacher whose class you’re skipping.
  16. Laughing at something on your computer with headphones in then realizing people are staring at you.
  17. Accidentally sending a snapchat to the wrong person, then trying to play it cool, but only causing it to be more awkward.
  18. When autocorrect messes up your strongly worded text and ruins your point.
  19. Making a joke and laughing, then realizing you were the only one who finds it funny or heard it.
  20. Going to the movies with a guy for a first date, and his mom sits behind you.
  21. When you are walking towards someone, but they are far away, so you’re not sure how fast to walk or where to look.
  22. Gossiping about someone then realizing they’re right behind you.
  23. Jamming out to music at a stop light only to meet the judgmental stare of the person in the car next to you.
  24. High school dances.
  25. Accidentally liking someone’s Instagram pictures from a year ago.
  26. Saying good-bye to someone then walking in the same direction as them.
  27. Holding the door open for someone who’s a little too far away.
  28. Breaking up with someone you share a lease with.
  29. Posting a series of dramatic and vague Facebook posts, and no one replies or likes them.
  30. Every time Leo lost an Oscar.
  31. Facebook memories.
  32. When you’ve combed through all of someone’s social media platforms before a first date then have to pretend you don’t know anything during the date.
  33. Making a baby cry.
  34. The 2015 Miss Universe pageant.
  35. Pretending to like something you hate or know nothing about.
  36. Wearing the same dress as someone you hate.
  37. Calling someone and losing your phone in the middle of the conversation when it’s right in your hand.
  38. Being very underdressed or very overdressed for something.
  39. Telling the wrong person happy birthday.
  40. Family game nights.
  41. Walking into the wrong movie at the theater and not realizing it until the movie you should have been seeing is already half over and the movie you’re now watching is just starting.
  42. Getting a new phone, not knowing anyone’s number and having to ask everyone.
  43. Walking into class to find out you did the wrong homework assignment.
  44. Asking someone if they’re going to a party the host purposefully excluded them from.
  45. Making small talk with someone you dislike because your parents are friends.
  46. Realizing you’ve been staring at a stranger for 10 minutes while you were zoned out.
  47. Being the only one to cry at a sad movie.
  48. When the teacher calls on you to answer a question, and you weren’t paying attention.
  49. Laughing at something longer and harder than anyone else.
  50. Being the first one to show up to an event.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
