50 Things I Could Not Have Survived Four Years Of College Without

Technically could have survived, but they definitely were very useful.

Obviously, I couldn't get through college without the support of my family, friends, and awesome roommates, but on this four-year-long journey, there were many unsung heroes that need to be given the recognition that they truly deserve. Of course, transportation, laptops, WiFi access, meal plans, textbooks and agendas all contributed heavily to academics, these are the items just below those that helped out equally as much. While these items aren't technically all essential and some are just well... a tad bit dramatic... they for sure helped me.

There are many things that I can think of, but here are my top 50 items that I don't know what I would have done without.

1. Quizlet

2. My Keurig/ coffee maker

3. Post-it notes in all kinds of sizes

4. A portable speaker

5. My Camelbak

6. Boxed Kraft mac and cheese

7. Boxed wine (s/o to Francia)

8. Tupperware for leftovers

9. Costco packs of paper towels and toilet paper... and cereal

10. Facebook (mostly pointless Facebook videos that I spend too much time a day looking at)

11. Oversized T-shirts and sweatshirts

12. A favorite pair of sweatpants

13. Spark Notes for books assigned and not read or bought

14. A wine opener/ beer opener

15. An AUX chord for the drives to and from back home

16. Dry shampoo for the days when showering just doesn't happen

17. Frozen microwaveable dinners

18. PASTA PASTA PASTA

32. Different colors of highlighters

33. Wikipedia

34. Travel sized hand sanitizer

35. Emergen-C for each and every winter

36. "Friends" re-runs

37. Midnight runs to Cook Out

38. So much tea

39. Slippers!

40. Command hooks and tacks

41. Travel coffee mug for 8 a.m. classes

42. A first-aid kit

43. A mini sewing kit... you don't realize you need one of these until you can't find it anymore

44. Blankets on blankets

45. A step stool

46. A portable charger

47. Coffee in general, but more specifically Dunkin'

48. Campus printers to save from buying your own printer

49. Ben & Jerry's ice cream

50. Chipotle

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying.
