Summer: the season of vacation, tan lines, cold ones (iced coffee), and of course, concerts and music festivals. With the music industry at its seasonal high, here are some hot new tunes, some oldies, and a few of my personal favorites that my indie/alternative/rock/bias to Bleachers heart is dancing to this summer.

1. Green Light X Lorde

I would like to start this playlist off just by saying that Lorde’s new album Melodrama that dropped on June 16th is an absolute gem. It is so full of heart and emotion, and the attention to detail is absolutely beautiful. Bonus points because Jack Antonoff helped her write it. While you’re looking up Green Light, go ahead and give the whole album a listen.
