Weddings are a wonderful event full of love, family, and joy. If you are a single girl, however, there are many thoughts in your head that you wouldn't dare say aloud at such a merry occasion.

Being at a wedding without a significant other can be rather daunting. Most of the time us single girls are headstrong, independent and totally fine on our own, but when you are surrounded by nothing but couples and married, happy people, it is hard not to feel alone. Some day--a long, long ways away--the single girls will take their turns walking down the aisle, but until then, this is what will be going through our heads as we watch our fortunate friends gain a better half.

1. I need to look good for this wedding. Who knows who might be there?

2. I can't be late.

3. I'm gonna be late.

4. No one noticed I was cutting it close, right?

5. Wow, the bride looks beautiful.

6. He's a lucky dude.

7. How do I look that good?

8. Oh yeah, get married.

9. The only aisle I'll be walking down any time soon is the chip aisle.

10. I'm so alone.

11. Aw, he really loves her.

12. I want someone to look at me like that.

13. That groomsman is kind of cute.

14. I'm so alone.

15. Maybe he'll notice me at the reception.

16. Wow, that was such a nice ceremony.

17. I can't wait to see them together at the reception.

18. They're so cute.

19. Where's the open bar?

20. I thought I would know more people here.

21. Where's the food?

22. Buffets are my favorite.

23. When do we get cake?

24. This is a good song.

25. Oh, everyone is dancing.

26. I have no one to dance with.

27. Of course that groomsman is after a bridesmaid.

28. I'm so alone.

29. I need another drink.

30. There are too many couples here.

31. One more, please.

32. Okay, now I can dance.

33. Yasss, love dancing with my girls.

34. I don't need a boy at all.

35. Shoot, now it's a slow one.

36. To the open bar.

37. Wow, everyone looks so happy together.

38. I'm so alone.

39. Don't catch the bouquet.

40. Don't catch the bouquet.

41. Don't catch the bouquet.

42. Or do.

43. But don't.

44. I'm so alone.

45. Wow, I'm glad I didn't catch it.

46. Good for her for getting it.

47. But there's a chance she's not getting married for like, another five years.

48. One more drink.

49. That was actually pretty fun.

50. Where's my Uber?

Us college students know all about the struggle of spending the day in the library. Whether you are writing a ten-page paper, studying for a biology exam, or struggling through math homework, you somehow find the strength to get to the library to get it all done. We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
