From a young age, I've always loved putting on my mother's make-up, popping on her heels, and turning one of her skirts into a dress. In this day an age, anyone can wear make-up; from girls, to boys, to performers. Here are my top 10 beauty favorites for any make-up lover.

1. Bourjois - Healthy Mix Foundation ($32.00)

This foundation creates a flawless matte finish and can last for up to 24 hours. The range of tones makes it easy to find the perfect match, and it works on all skin types due to it's incredible formula.

2. Marc Jacobs Beauty - Remedy Concealer Pen ($52.00)

Within this formula there are antioxidants, pigments, and hydrating and anti-aging ingredients. These ingredients reduce puffiness and set an illusion for a smooth, flawless finish.

3. Nars - Orgasm Blush ($30.00)

The pigment of this pink shimmering blush is to die for; it can be used in nearly every look you will try to create.

4. Benefit - Hoola Bronzer ($26.00)

Bronzer can be hard to find without a shimmer added, but look no further, as it is right here. If you are trying to pair your blush with a bronzer, this product is great due to it's matte factor, which won't add too much intensity.

5. Maybelline - Gel Pot Liner Blackest Black ($14.40)

From trying to finesse the perfect wing or the thinnest line, this gel eyeliner does the perfect job and it is a drugstore brand.

6. Mac - Woodwinked Single Eyeshadow ($33.00)

Woodwinked is still my favorite eyeshadow to this day. The warm antique gold has a high pigment, which makes for an even application and smooth blend. With this color, I love to add a matte brown shade into my crease to create a fuller look.

7. Stila - Eyes are the Window Shadow Palette ($73.00)

The variety of 12 shadows within this palette gives you the opportunity to design any look; from day time glam, to night-time chic. The mix of white, yellow and rose golds leave room to experiment and mix shades. There is also a bonus look book created by Sarah Lucero to help you discover looks you haven't tried before.

8. Mac - Brush 217SH Blending Brush ($37.00)

To have the perfect blended eyeshadow look, and to create some extra smokiness, this brush will do the trick by blending in and throughout your crease.

9. Mac - Russian Red Lipstick ($17.00)

Russian Red is M.A.C's signature matte lipstick, due to it's hundreds of hues and intense color. It may not seem it, but this is actually a bluish-red.

10. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara ($23.00)

This collagen-fueled formula and hourglass brush shape will leave you with intense dramatic lashes after just one application.

Being a performer, I love carefully putting on my make-up before a show and can take at least an hour to perfect my look. Without these products,my make-up would be much harder to finesse.

I love thinking of my face as a blank canvas and painting the picture I desire.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
