I could go on forever trying to count all my blessings, because everything that happens is literally a blessing, good or bad. This list serves as a reminder that I have so much. Some of them are things I take for granted on the daily or just things I forget that make me happy. Hopefully, when I am down I can reread this list and remember that life is full of beauty, even in the pain. Maybe this list of 50 things can help spark a few of your blessings in your life and that can in turn bring you joy. So without further ado, here’s mine.

1. I have a mom and dad who still love me even when they hear me sing in the shower.

2. I have been given a furnished home I can call my very own.

3. My car gets me everywhere I need to go and even blares my music as loud as I want it.

4. I have wonderful friends that listen to everything annoying thing I say and still love me on the bad days.

5. I am employed.

6. I am not on some strange island thanks to the GPS on my phone that knows how to lead me home.

7. I live in the USA where it’s not considered a crime to preach the Word of God.

8. I am able to learn as much as I please.

9. My closet is full of my favorite clothes to keep me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I even have enough to give away.

10. My grandma is my best friend, and I can totally be myself around her.

11. Food has never been scarce. In fact, I can eat all day long.

12. I have a little extra money to go have fun.

13. My bed is full of blankets and pillows for the ultimate sleep.

14. I can remember some of the most fun adventures of my life by looking at photos.

15. My cute kitty loves to see me after a long day at work and cuddle.

16. I am very capable of doing anything I put my mind to.

17. I get to express and voice my opinions without being locked up in jail.

18. My friends went with me to go hold a hedgehog for the first time. Best day of my life.

19. My parents have told me “no” before.

20. Whenever I feel lonely, I have my bible and my friends are just one phone call away.

21. I can dance to my favorite songs on the radio even though I’m not good.

22. I am able to go on a mission trip and spread the Word of God because He has called me to do so.

23. A hot shower is always something I look forward to.

24. I know where to go if I need help.

25. My annual beach trips with the family are always something I look forward to because life at the beach is so much simpler.

26. My different assorted colored converse match anything I wear, so I can pick out an outfit super quick.

27. I am independent.

28. Maroon 5 has made my life 10x better through high school and college years.

29. So many people including friends and family have given me so much to help me out.

30. I’m blessed because I get to work with children who seem to look at life with only a smile on their face. There’s not a day I see them and don’t smile at least a few times.

31. Heaven is my home.

32. I have been given leadership abilities that I hope to strengthen throughout my life.

33. My bedroom. The place where I can be alone and be as loud or quiet as I want.

34. My childhood best friend is still my best friend, and I get the privilege to live right down the road from her.

35. My sleeping mask has helped me sleep a little longer so I can be a lazy bum on the weekends.

36. Nature has given me a glimpse of God.

37. I know that not every day is a bad day.

38. Forgiveness is a real thing and I am able to do it.

39. I am thankful for my calendar that is falling apart. It helps me get through all my days successfully.

40. I get to see Ryan Gosling on TV.

41. I have a future, even if I cannot see it.

42. Many people have helped and influenced me to become the person I am.

43. Thankful that everyone is different so it makes me unique. This reminds me to just continue being me.

44. I can write about anything I want and share it with the world thanks to Odyssey.

45. I have been given 19 wonderful years of life.

46. My childhood was fantastic. I got to run barefoot and wild.

47. My sister and I are so alike it’s crazy. We even have similar style so I get to steal some of her clothes.

48. My mom treats me like a baby when I am sick and it is the best.

49. Riding the bus throughout my school years really taught me to be thankful for AC and headphones.

50. It's a blessing that the darkness can never dull any light.

Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home.
