50 Little Things To Love About Life

Often times throughout life we find ourselves worrying about the smallest of things. We worry about petty problems like what outfit we're wearing or who said what about who. We care about how many likes we get on a picture more than we care about cherishing the moment that we're capturing. So often it's the little things that frustrate us and stress us out, when really, it's the little things that should give us the most joy. It's the things like the sun shinning on a bad day or laughing at a bad joke. These are the things that we should love and cherish the most about life, because most of the time these little things are the most abundant of things. So next time you're having a bad day and need something to cheer you up, or next time you have a good day and just need to get lost in the moment, here's fifty little things to love about life.

(when I was little I always imagined that it was God shining through the clouds)

20. Oreos dipped in milk

(or peanut butter)

21. Bike rides

22. Paying with exact change

23. Forehead kisses

(personal favorite)

24. When your favorite song plays on the radio

25. The Dollar Section at Target

26. Bath bombs

27. Baths in general

(some think they're gross, I think they're magical)

28. Getting mail

29. Catching fireflies

30. Being in love

(because making others feel makes you feel good)

42. Oversized tee shirts

45. Being happy for others

(I think we need a little more of this in the world)

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
