1. Frog Pose

When we stay in a pose for a long time and turn our concentration inwards, feelings start to intumesce within us and we start understanding what is exactly going on with us. The more tension a pose holds, the more it helps in focusing, feeling, and healing.

We tend to carry a lot of tension in our hips. Hence, starting with a hip opener is a nice idea. This pose helps you stretch your hips and groin muscles while practicing mindful breathing.

This pose may cause discomfort. Stay in this uncomfortable but effective position for as long as you can. But do remember that discomfort and pain are completely different things. So in case, it becomes painful, comes out of this position.

2. Reclined Bound Angle Pose

A person with a strong mind and body connection is more likely to move on and heal from trauma. Yoga can help build that connection between mind and body, as it provides a person with a sanctuary to explore the emotions and feeling emerging within him.

Grounding pose can particularly aid in forming this connection, as during this pose a person is supported by the earth. It gives a person a safe place to feel and be held at the same time.

To focus on your breath and stay in the present moment, it is advised to place one hand over your belly and another over your heart.

3. Half-Pigeon Pose

Sometimes in order to heal, you just need to accept things. It may not be necessary to release the anger and the pain in order to heal. At times, you must let go of it, accept it and then move on in life

As discussed earlier, hips carry a lot of stress and feelings. When you open them or stretch them in the half-pigeon pose, you have no other choice but to surrender to those feelings. People often break down and start crying in this position. It is completely normal.

This pose often pushes people to break through the walls and let in all the emotions. Thus, people usually end up crying in this pose. It is a very healing position.

4. Wheel Pose

Yoga and meditation are forms of introspection. Certain poses provide people a sanctuary to introspect. It is when people dig deep inside them, they realize why they have been feeling a certain way for so long. These poses expose people from the inside and make them vulnerable. Such vulnerability is necessary for the healing process.

When people are constrained within themselves, they build a boundary around their hearts that they do not allow other people to cross. In order to heal, it is important to open your heart.

Heart opening poses like wheel pose help you do that. It helps break down those invisible yet strong walls, and push you to open your heart.

It is a very helpful pose as in this position you open your heart with your hands and feet on the floor. It keeps you grounded while you open your heart.

Healing demands a person to bring their inner power to life. We are not talking about your aggression or control. We are talking about self-empowerment. You need to light up confidence, truth, willingness, and courage in yourself in order to truly heal.

Self-empowerment is the state in which you embrace your path and stop running away from it. It is when you allow yourself to accept yourself and acknowledge everything around you, and embrace all your strengths and weaknesses alike.

Warrior 2 allows you to dive into that power. Try to stay in this pose for a long time and you'll be surprised by what you experience. You can Flats to rent in London With Rent London flats, you can find various variety of flats there.
