1. Ruth Bader Ginsburg

RBG is known for being an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. She is the second female justice out of four to be confirmed to the court. She joined an equal pay in 1963 after realizing her salary was lower than her male colleagues at Rutgers Law School. During the 1970s, she worked for the American Civil Liberties Union. Not only this, she co-founded the Women's Rights Projects. RBG has an unrivaled work ethic that's made her a formidable force to be reckoned with on the Supreme Court.
2. Bilquis Edhi
Bilquis Edhi
Bilquis Edhi is a professional nurse and one of the most active philanthropists in Pakistan. She's been hailed as "The Mother of Pakistan". She, along with her now-deceased husband Abdul Sattar Edhi, founded the Edhi Foundation. Her husband and she even created the 'jhoola project' where they placed 300 cradles throughout Pakistan for parents to drop their unwanted children, with the message saying "Do not kill, leave the baby to live in the cradle." Her charity runs many services in Pakistan including hospitals and emergency services in Karachi. The Edhi Foundation has saved over 17,000 unwanted children and continues to provide aid for orphans.
3. Ahed Tamimi
Ahed Tamimi is a Palestinian activist from the Nabi Salih in West Bank, Palestine. She is best known for her image where she's confronting Israeli soldiers in full gear. Last year, she was detained by Israeli authorities for slapping a soldier. This event became viral and Tamimi became the forefront for the Palestinian resistance. She got released in July 2018. Her continued acts of courage make her an excellent advocate for Palestinian independence.
4. Emma Gonzalez
Emma Gonzalez was a victim of the Majory Stoneman Douglas High School school shooting. But this horrific incident made her become an advocate for gun control. She gave a famous speech against gun violence, giving a six-minute moment of silence to each of the victims. She stated "we call B.S." on the lack of action by politicians funded by the NRA lobby. Gonzalez has co-founded the gun control advocacy group Never Again MSD. Emma Gonzalez continues to be outspoken about gun violence calling politicians to change laws regarding guns.
5. Amariyanna Copeny aka "Little Miss Flint"
Amariyanna 'Mari' Copeny has brought a lot of attention to the Flint Water Crisis. When the water supply changed for Flint, Mari says "it smelled funny, and it was brown." She began to take a stand against the water crisis after learning that the bacteria in the water had lead to an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease that killed 12 people. She wrote a powerful letter to President Obama in 2016 stating that the children of Flint could no longer drink the water, shower, or even use the Slip 'N Slide. Her letter garnered much support and Obama eventually signed $100 million in funding to repair the city's poisoned water supply. Since 2016, Copeny has founded the Dear Flint Kids Project, become a Women's March Youth Ambassador, and has started to fight against education inequality.
