Winter is a tough season to begin with, but then, you get to campus. You are going to be walking everywhere. Everywhere. Therefore, if you don't have the correct items, it'll be tough to bear the cold. Here are the top 5 items every college girl has to have this season

1. Duck boots

Walking through the snow will make anyone cold, so duck boots are the perfect solution! With the inside insulated and the outside waterproof, they are the perfect show for the snow.

2. Parka

With the snow and the wind ripping through the air, a thick parka is the best to keep warm. Going up a size may be best so you can fit layers underneath. Also, don't forget about a fur hood! You may think you don't need one but everyone wears their hood, especially with the snow falling! If you are worried about the wind, get a longer parka, they have ones made to go down the knees and they are perfect!

3. Knit Hat

You are totally going to underestimate how cold it gets, and wearing your hood is not enough. That's why a knit hat is perfect!! You can even style them and get one with your team's logo on it for school spirit!!

4. Thick Scarf

Zipping your coat all the way up may not be warm enough, so grab a thick knitted scarf! If you're like me and always care about your style, it's an easy way to "dress up!" You can match your scarf to your coat or even your shoes and stay warm at the same time!

5. Cabin Socks

Duck boots may keep the snow and water out but don't forget to stay warm with a nice thick pair of Cabin Socks! Paired with leggings tucked into them and a pair of boots, you'll be set for that walk across campus!!

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
