5 Ways To Get Through The End Of The Semester Without Failing

As hard as the last few weeks of school are there are some things that just cannot be avoided..like final exams. The weather is warm and the sun is out and truly the last thing anyone wants to do is be inside cramming for a test. It's easy to just give up as your motivation diminishes, find something to be inspired by, knock yourself off the plateau.

1. Breathe.

Take a few minutes each day to yourself, for yourself by yourself. Allow yourself to relax, you can't get anything done when worrying, stress paralyzes. To calm down, make a list of priorities of classes by importance.

2. Treat yo-self.

Get that donut, eat that pizza, get your nails done, take an adventure. Get your mind off what lays ahead. During your breaks, it is essential to bring your mind away from academics.

3. Go outside.

Fresh air is underrated, nature heals in the most amazing way. During study breaks stretch your legs...or better yet, study outside if you can!

4. Workout.

Get those endorphins pumping. A quick sweat session will help you clear your mind and be able to recharge.

5. Reward.

For every hour study, watch two hours of Netflix. Haha, but in all seriousness, do it. It can be daunting to try and get everything done at once, so don't. Plan in advance so you don't get caught up in overwhelming feelings.

It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
