Take a few minutes out of the day to just relax, inhale, and exhale. Simple Yoga can help you a) breathe better, b) relieve stress, c) increases your daily energy, and d) helps you become more mindful on your daily tasks.

Aromatherapy

If you can't get to a spa, make one in your home! Grab a few therapeutic candles, a bottle of your favorite bubble bath/ bath salt, and soak away all of your stresses in your bathtub while inhaling the calming/soothing scents of your favorite relaxer.

Writing

When you start to become very overwhelmed and filled with emotions, take the time to re-organize your life. Grab a book and a pen, iPad/Tablet, or even your nearest computer and begin to write out your feelings. I normally take the time out to write my goals for the week and even my feelings throughout the day.

Music

Listening to your favorite music is very effective for relaxation and stress management. Particularly listening to slow, calming music can help you relax your body while decluttering your mind.

Drinking Tea

Drinking a nice, hot cup of tea can also help reduce stress, particularly Green Tea. Green tea contains an amino acid that produces a calming effect within the body once taken. Other teas that can help accomplish the same goal include: Peppermint Tea, Chamomile Tea, Lemon Balm Tea, Passion Flower Tea, and Rose Tea.

These are a few ways that can help you de-stress before finals. Hope you enjoy!
