Although the 2018-2019 school year has officially come to a close, it is never to early to start thinking about your dorm year for next year! When preparing for the big college move-in day, it is always a good idea to start buying dorm decor early. Here are 5 easy ways to personalize your dorm room!

1. Pictures

Upon moving in to your "luxurious" dorm room, you will notice the hard cold floors. To fix that, buy a nice big area rug to warm up the space!

2. Lighting

Good lighting is everything in a college dorm room! Most dorm rooms have large overhead lights that can be harsh and too bright, but string lights are a great way to make your room feel more cozy.

3. Curtains

if you are willing to go the extra mile to really enhance your room, drapes and curtains are a great addition to any dorm!

4. Wall decor

Posters are a great way to spice up your room and really make the space your own. Whether you put up posters, tapestries, or art canvases, wall decor will definitely make your room a little bit more livable!
