Yeah, so Pinterest has been around for a while, I know, but hear me out here. It's probably been a hot minute since you've made your Pinterest account and started populating it with tons of pins you thought were awesome at the time.
So raise your hand if you're one of those people who needs to do a little spring cleaning of their Pinterest page.
In this article, I've come up with some fun and creative ways to organize your Pinterest page to help utilize this pretty helpful social media platform. And of course, feel free to come up with your own helpful and unique ways to organize your own Pinterest based on some of your interests.
1. Catalog Your Wardrobe
Section out your closet by type of clothing. For example Boots, Coats, Dresses, Jewelry, Pants, Shirts, etc.
Or section it out by types of clothing. For Example Work, Summer, Date, Fancy, etc.
Have a “To Buy” section for clothing items you’re missing in you wardrobe
Label inspiration sections with outfits to look at for possible outfit choices with clothes similar to ones you own in your wardrobe.
2. Organize Your Home Decor
Create a section for each room.
Collect pictures of your current furniture and furniture you may want to have in the future.
Plan rooms in a new house/apartment if you’re moving.
Have an inspiration board where you post images of rooms you like to get inspired when decorating your spaces.
3. Inspire Yourself
Hoard as many cute, inspirational, motivating quotes on a Quotes Board.
Have a section with your favorite book or movie quotes.
Have a section with writing prompts, sheet music,
Pin workout regimens and How-Tos.
Pin Goals you have for each month and the year.
Make a Gift Board and organize your family members into sections. Pin possible gift ideas for each person for birthdays and holidays.
4. Collect Ideas for DIY Projects
Use sections like home projects, crafts, sewing, knitting, etc.
Create a board of Tips and Tricks.
Have a section where you post pictures of DIY projects you completed yourself.
5. Gather Recipes
Have “To Try” and “Tried” sections.
Put mini-reviews in the description of each pin.
Collect meal plan recipes you use often.
Pin pictures of your own family's recipes.
