5 Ways to Celebrate Football Season

Fall is in the air and that means football season is upon us! For many people, football season is the best time of year. Whether you're tailgating at the stadium or watching the game from home with family and friends, there are plenty of ways to get involved and show your team spirit. Here are 5 fun ideas to help you make the most of football season.

Have a Game Day Watch Party

Nothing brings people together like good food and football. Invite your friends and family over to watch the big game and enjoy some delicious game day grub. You can even get creative with your menu and make dishes that represent your team's colors or mascot. Pigs in a blanket become "hot dogs in a helmet" and buffalo chicken dip becomes "touchdown chili". Whatever you do, make sure there's plenty of food to go around!

Make Some Team-Themed Crafts

If you're looking for a fun activity to do with the kids (or even by yourself), try making some team-themed crafts. You can paint foam fingers, decorate cookies or cake pops, or create banners and pennants to show your support. This is also a great way to show your team spirit in your home or office.

Attend a Local Tailgate Party

Tailgating is a time-honored tradition for many football fans. If you've never been to a tailgate party, now is the perfect time to give it a try! There are usually lots of them happening in parking lots around stadiums on game days. You can usually find one going on without needing tickets to the game, so don't worry if you don't have any. Just bring some food (or cash to buy food) and enjoy the festivities!

Place Your Bets

Looking to make some money this football season? Why not place your bets on a football team? There are free football picks available online, so you can do your research and find a team that you think is going to win. Of course, there's always a risk involved in betting, but that's part of the fun! You could end up making a lot of money if you place your bets wisely. This is one way to invigorate your game day!

Plan a Trip to See Your Favorite Team Play

One of the best ways to experience football season is by seeing your favorite team play live in their home stadium. Plan ahead and book your tickets early so you don't miss out! Make sure you wear your team's colors proud so everyone knows which side you're on!

However you choose to celebrate football season, make sure you have fun and show your team spirit! Go out there and cheer your team on to victory!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
