5 Ways To Celebrate Easter As An Adult

In This Article:

Easter is fast approaching, and even if you aren't a kid, you can still celebrate and have fun on Easter. If you don't celebrate the holiday, either due to religious reasons or personal, there are still reasons to celebrate. The changing of the seasons from winter to spring is a reason to celebrate with your friends and family. Spring is about new beginnings and starting anew. It's a time to let go of your baggage from the winter because spring means change. Especially this year, we all need to savor life's changes and use them to our own advantage. Take the time to spring clean or get rid of any bad habits. If you celebrate the holiday, then just because you aren't a kid anymore doesn't mean you still can't find joy and have fun on Easter. Think of Easter and springtime as an adult as if you were a bare tree and now it's the moment for your flowers to bloom.

1. Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Throw an Easter egg hunt that has eggs filled with goodies that you and your friends enjoy. Fill them with gift cards, candy, mini drink bottles, and money. Make it challenging and hide them in tough places you would have never have found as a kid.

2. Make Easter Baskets For Friends

Everyone loves receiving gifts. So, if you throw an Easter party, have each friend bring an Easter basket for another friend. Kinda like Secret Santa, but this time, Secret Easter Bunny,

3. Host An Easter Brunch

Brunch is amazing anytime, but it's a fun way to have friends over. You can make deviled eggs, quiches, eggs benedict, and all the amazing breakfast foods you find at your favorite brunch spots.

4. Decorate Eggs

Competition is always fun, so whoever makes the best decorated egg should get a prize, like a Target gift card! You can even have different categories like best egg, best funny egg, and worst designed egg.

5. Springtime Photo Shoot

Updating your Instagram with cute photos is always fun. Go to the park or nearby garden and throw a spring/Easter themed photo shoot with friends.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
