Halloween is on a Tuesday this year, so that means most of us have class the next day. Or if you’re like me and have a midterm the next day, you’re planning on staying in and studying the entire night. Or maybe you went out the weekend before and feel like staying in on the Halloween day, but still want to celebrate in some way. Whatever the case, here are some ways to spend your Halloween day.
1. Watch a Halloween movie
Put on a movie while you’re doing homework or invite some friends over for popcorn, candy and Disney Halloween movies, like Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus and Twitches. If you’re down to actually get scared, watch some horror movies: Insidious, Annabelle, etc. Just make sure you have some friends around for when you start hearing voices.
2. Buy candy
Candy gets less expensive the later you buy it. Wait until the day after Halloween to search through all of the candy bags, now on sale for a low price.
3. Pass out candy
This is a great way to make friends with your floormates. Put a sign up on your door asking them to knock for candy as they pass by.
4. DIY Halloween Crafts
Make spooky crafts to decorate for the rest of the month, or get ahead for next year. Do a quick search on Pinterest on how to make bats out of toilet paper rolls, or ghosts out of Q-tips.
5. Bake Halloween goodies!
Spend your evening making cookies, cupcakes, or brownies. Make sure to decorate them for Halloween!
