If a woman gets pregnant, then her life will invariably change forever. Aside from having to balance aspects of her personal life, pregnancy can definitely impact a woman's educational plans. Because of the risks and emotional impact of abortion on mothers, many women are now seeking for alternatives to this solution. If you become pregnant and choose abortion alternatives such as adoption or raising the baby, know that you can still achieve your educational goals and aspirations. However, for the following reasons, understand that even though the path is possible, it is not always easy.

Your Graduation May be Delayed

In many cases, a pregnant woman may not able to graduate with her class, especially if she has to take time off to take care of the child or prepare for the birth. If your adviser or other school official informs you that your graduation date may be delayed, do not get discouraged. The important thing is that if you stay focused, you will eventually graduate and continue on with your life. Pregnancy may delay the end result but you should always continue on. The effect is even more pronounced when the pregnancy is unplanned.

You May Have to Switch to Online Courses

Whether it is high school or college, many academic institutions offer online classes for students who cannot travel to school on a regular basis. Make sure to take advantage of this option because this allows you to prepare for the birth and be a parent during the day while at the same time, work toward your degree.

While the child is sleeping, you can complete your homework quickly and efficiently and work through coursework in the early morning or late evenings. In some cases, you may have to go into school once a week to meet with teachers or advisers. However, aside from those times, you can work from home and maintain a flexible schedule.

You May Decide to Focus on Another Major

If you become pregnant during college, you may decide to switch academic programs. For example, instead of attempting to achieve a four-year degree, you may want to consider two-year programs. This allows you to leave school faster and work to provide for your child. In the end, if you have certain goals, you should ultimately try and achieve them. However, in the meantime, your child still needs to eat and therefore you may want to focus on another career path in the short run.

Rely on a Strong Support Group

Let's face it. There are some people who are going to expect you to fail. Whether it is a teacher, counselor, friends or even family members, there will always be individuals who believe that after becoming pregnant, you will not achieve your goals.

Prove them wrong by staying organized and focused. Also, when you find someone in your life that has faith in your abilities and wants you to succeed, make sure to go to them regularly for support. Stay away from negative people who may bring you down and impede your goals.

You May Find More Value in Your Education

In many cases, especially in high school and college, students go to school because their parents make them. However, when pregnant, you know that your education will directly benefit another person, your child.

In many instances, some future parents may find that their grades may suffer because they may miss a class or will not have a great deal of time to study. However, many also find that they are more engaged in the subject manner because they understand the importance of achieving a quality education. Instead of hanging out with friends, many future parents will take the time to go in and talk to the teacher to make sure to understand the subject manner.

If you are pregnant, make sure to understand all of the options available to you, including adoption. Also realize that even though your life may change, you can still accomplish your educational goals and aspiration. Plan accordingly and talk to your teachers and advisors and you will find yourself on a lucrative path.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
