There are some days, where you are just feeling yourself. Wether its your #OOTD, or if your hair is on point, there are just some days where you feel more attractive, more confident, and all around more bad ass than usual. Here is a list of things you can do to make every single day a great day.
1. Make a playlist.
I have a playlist comprised of basically every feel good, laugh out loud, dance your butt off
2. Smile!
Even if you anticipate having a really long and tough day, smile. Your facial expressions can send messages to your brain to reduce cortisol levels (the chemical that makes you stress). Smiling also makes you feel more confident, and even if you aren't having the best hair day people will still take notice of you (in
3. Wake up 20 minutes earlier.
I know, it sounds like this would totally make your day worse, right? Wrong! If you wake up 20 minutes earlier, whether it's to enjoy a nice cup of coffee, curl your hair, or just lay in bed and watch one of your favorite episodes of "Friends," these 20 minutes make you less groggy, and (depending on what you do in that time) can totally change the attitude of your day!
4. Laugh at yourself.
Not every day is going to be perfect. You have to laugh at yourself when embarrassing things happen during the day. You accidentally turn a corner and walk right into the cutest boy on the hockey team, and scream in his face? No big deal. Laugh it off! Not letting little things ruin your day will make for a better, happier day and -- if you laugh it off -- you can tell your friends these hilarious stories, not only brightening your own day, but you can make someone else laugh, improving their day as well!
5. Be comfortable.
Wear something you’re comfortable in. You don’t always have to look 100 percent all the time. If you want to wear leggings and your dads old college sweatshirt, that's great, as long as you are comfortable in it. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it's great to dress up, and if dressing up is something that puts you in a good mood, wear that dress you like! But if it's a Thursday that just feels like a Monday, and you are not feeling your closet, there is nothing wrong with just being comfortable. Being comfortable makes us feel at ease and relaxed, and to me, that sounds like the key to a great day.
