And it has arrived, the last summer before you're officially interacting in the adult world and well, adulting. The last summer you won't be required to work a majority of the week and probably participate in a 9-5 day. The last summer to be careless before the student loan payments hit and the bills demand your attention... here are five ways to capitalize on your carefree warm days as told by "New Girl."

1. Can you get by on part-time work?

Listen, people, if you can swing it on part-time, DO IT. This is probably the last time in your twenties you can get by with the bare minimum of minimum wage, part-time. Take full advantage of all the free time you can and enjoy that social life!!

2. Sleeping in

Okay, since you'll be working the bare minimum, time to capitalize on those extra hours of sleep. Ditch the alarm and enjoy one last time what it's like to not be up at the crack of dawn on a weekday.

3. Drink, drink & drink

So, drinking & partying it up is an obvious to-do. And, since you have time you can sleep off the hangover the next morning or better yet, drink off the pain of last night's drinks. Stay golden.

4. Spontaneous adventures

Take advantage of your time, if that means taking off for a sporadic random road trip or escaping for the day, do it! Adventure the hell out of this summer, what's stopping you? You won't regret it in the fall when you're stuck in the library.

5. Weekday beach days

Saturday morning beach traffic can really kill a vibe. So, enjoy these final moments of soaking up the sun on carefree weekdays while the rest of the adult world is stuck working. The beach is so much more enjoyable anyways when you have it to yourself.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
