Ah, it's that lovely time of the year, the leaves are falling, the weather is getting colder, and midterms are drawing near. With the stressful season approaching, I find that I have ways to de-stress myself. De-stressing is essential due to you keeping your focus on not only what is important for school, but for yourself as well. Below I created a small checklist of five simple ways to de-stress yourself during this time.
1. Make a Study Plan.
Create a study plan to help you throughout the week keep track of everything and anything you need to complete.
2. Take a Nap
Sometimes the best medicine for a stressful time is sleep. Taking a nap here or there can help you relax and replenish yourself to tackle anything.
3. Meditate.
Try listening to your favorite songs or even sitting quietly in silence to rest your mind for a bit.
4. Exercise.
Stressed? Jog or run it out to sweat out any stress you may have. Exercise can help you whether it be for either fifteen minutes or an hour.
5. Give yourself a "Me" Day.
Last but certainly not least, set aside a day for you. Go shopping, get a haircut, or even spend time with family and friends to keep a balance between school and your daily life!
