College is a time of living your best life, but dating in college can be very hard at times.

Ghosting

There is nothing worse then waking up in one day to being left on read. When you snapchat/text them they still leave you on read until you never hear from them again. It can leave someone wondering what exactly went wrong, they can feel confused because as far as you knew everything was ok... until it wasn't. It does not take much to tell someone that it is not working out, not to mention it will make the person feel better to know what happened instead of constantly wondering.

sex is expected

In my experience if a guy takes you on a date sex is expected. It is like the boys will actually be mad at you for not putting out on the first date.

You cannot say what you feel in the fear of "being crazy"

There has been so many times boys have done me wrong, and instead of telling them exactly how I feel I just suffer in silence. Girls get the label of being crazy just because they explain how they feel, and I think that is a shame.

There is never a label to anything

You can spend everyday with a boy for the past couple of weeks, spend the night with him, and text him constantly. However, the minute someone brings up the idea of defining the relationship things get weird and awkward.

You have to date boys who simply put are not it

When you are casually dating you can get discouraged quickly, you have to go through a lot of duds before you find a potential boyfriend.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
