We all know that all in all every Fraternity is basically the same...that is, their actions are the same. Below are 5 of the main different traits that every Fraternity man possesses at the University of Alabama.

1. They're ALWAYS together

All greek life in general, men and women alike, tends to stick mostly with the people in their own organization. However, due to the small pledge classes in the copious amounts of Fraternities at Alabama the men are no exception. Just like boy band Big Time Rush, you’ll hardly ever see a Fraternity man without one of his brothers.

2. They have a following of girls who wont quit

Almost every girl claims to be a “groupie” for at least one Fraternity…come on you know you’ve done it. These girls would die before seeing they're favorite men leave this campus. You can also catch them at every band party, darty, and date party…so I guess you can say it’s a following.

3. There’s usually a favorite amongst fans…

Every fraternity has one man that all the girls absolutely flock to because of his charm, good looks, and just overall magnetism. Nick Jonas was definitely the favorite for the majority of young girls out of the Jonas Brothers. However, there are some women who disagree on the overall attractiveness of the general fan favorite and stick to what they prefer.

4. …and there’s usually a least favorite

Kevin Jonas…need I say more?

5. When there’s dating involved there’s usually trouble

Every friend group will go through it’s fare share of relationships and sometimes the woman of your friend’s choosing just happens to be Yoko Ono. I’ve heard multiple stories of Fraternity men who’ve found they’re college love and soon after completely ghosting his friends. Believe it or not, it happens with men too!!

The Beatles broke up because of Yoko Ono’s influence on John Lennon (yes I firmly believe it was her fault) and many Fraternity men have left their friend groups, even they're Fraternities, due to the influence of a woman.

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.
