5 Ways Beauty Subscriptions Save You Time And Money

If you love makeup and beauty items, but hate spending tons of money trying to figure out which products are best for you, try a beauty subscription! By paying an estimated amount each month, you are sent multiple products without having to go into the store or drop a portion of your new paycheck. For example, my subscription to Ipsy is only $10 per month, and I get four sample-size products and one full-size product. There are so many benefits of subscribing to a monthly beauty package that you probably didn't think of at first.

Here are five ways a beauty subscription will save your time and money you can spend elsewhere!

1. Sample-size products let you try without waste.

Who doesn't love samples? Sample products allow you to try a new product without buying the full-size or wasting what you don't end up using. Plus, the amount of sample brand name items you'll get versus the actual cost of those items is next to nothing when it comes as a subscription package.

2. You'll discover new brands.

Okay. Maybe you're a stickler for MAC or Too Faced, but discovering new brands can be a lot of fun! Who knows? Maybe you'll find your new favorite brand of nail polish or fall in love with a blush you've never tried before.

3. Smaller products mean space and travel-friendly.

Typically when you buy a lot of products, you waste a lot of space trying to store all of them. When products are smaller, you'll be able to fit more of them in half of the space. Plus, your products will be travel-friendly for when you're on your next getaway. Never settle for the drugstore travel section again!

4. No more wandering around stores and becoming lost.

This is more so geared for in-store shoppers who may spend hours in Sephora figuring out what to buy next, or which product will work for them. Although asking for help is totally fine, a subscription can help pinpoint items that fit your needs best. By asking you questions based on your lifestyle and preferences, you can receive items meant for you without having to scour a store. Spend your time doing other things rather than stressing over your next purchase.

5. It's like a monthly present to yourself.

Who doesn't love receiving a little package with goodies inside each month? A subscription is like a monthly gift to yourself because you deserve it! A bit of pampering and experimentation goes a long way when you work so hard. Plus, chances are you'll forget about it until it arrives (making it even more exciting)!

Don't know which brand to choose? Find the right subscription for you!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
