It’s really quite ironic that I’m writing this article right now as I am laying in bed sick myself. Had I actually practiced the tips I’m about to give you, I probably wouldn't be laying here unable to breathe through my nose or stop sneezing uncontrollably.
1. Wash your hands frequently with warm water and soap.
Do not overuse hand sanitizer because the more you use it, the less it will work. It will turn into more of a lotion than a sanitizer.

2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
I know it's difficult not to rub your eyes or bite your nails but try your hardest not too because the eyes, nose and mouth are the three places where germs can directly transfer into your body.
3. Wash your hands before you eat and do not share foods or drinks with friends.
Even if another person is not showing symptoms of being sick it doesn't mean that they do not have those symptoms somewhere in their system.
4. Sneeze into your elbow, NOT YOUR HANDS.
This will allow you to avoid spreading germs to both yourself and others.
5. Drink lots of fluids and get a lot of rest.
Vitamin C and naps will become your two best friends.
