Falling sick during the Monsoon can be very common. Your nose is stuffy, your throat is scratchy and what is worse is that the weather outside is pretty blissful and you want to eat street food with your friends and dance in the rain, but instead you're stuck indoors because you have the flu. Well, here's how to take advantage of your miserable situation:

1. Your family will be willing to run around and get things for you

Coffee, tea, breakfast in bed woohoo!

2. You finally have an excuse to binge watch Netflix

3. You can easily get out of Saturday night plans with people you didn't want to go with in the first place

4. You can nap all day and all night

5. You can go days without bathing

( if you want, although that is a personal choice and not something I would endorse).

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
