5 Underated Songs By Ariana Grande

For fans no songs are considered underrated (ever). But for those unfortunate people who only know the hit singles or seen the Vevo YouTube videos I can't say the same. Artists work doesn't always get the recognition it deserves. Whether you've skipped a track on an album or forgotten a song because you didn't realize it's genius at the time. Underrated songs are a dime a dozen. For the talented Ariana Grande this statement goes far beyond the truth as a number of lyrical master pieces have only received the appreciation of her most loyal fans. Here are five underrated songs by Ariana Grande for the public ear to take a listen to.

1. "Best Mistake ft. Big Sean"

The emotional ballad between Ariana Grande and Big Sean from her second studio album "My Everything" is alyrical master piece which has inspired my wedding vows (if I ever get married). With lines like "even if the stars fall and the moon stop shining... I'll be saving my love for you." A constantly overlooked song in the history of all Ari songs by the mass public at hand. From the nice piano entry to Big Sean's verse, this songs leaves us feeling the impact of a mistake well made.

2. "Be Alright"

Maybe the most underrated song in all Ariana Grande history. "Be Alright" from the "Dangerous Woman" album gives off major Vogue vibes. More so than the studio records bop beat is the live performance on the SNL stage with Madonna inspired choreography. This song may possibly be overlooked because the word dangerous never made it to the lyric board. Never the less this track deserves recognition for it's positive message about well Being Alright.

3. "Break Your Heart Right Back ft. Childish Gambino"

Like many of the songs on "My Everything" this one brings things to a new point in time when the lines of heterosexuality are blurred as our dear Ari gets her heart broken by her crush liking another guy. Diana Ross's "I'm Coming Out" has a whole new meaning as it's infectious beat is followed up by Childish Gambino fun verse. "Break Your Heart Right Back" is more than a fun time, but a different tune to those break up songs.

4. "Greedy"

"Dangerous Woman" brought with it a number of tracks worthy of an Ariana Grande single, but the one that came unexpectedly was Greedy. The high vocal range, upbeat, funky technical beat "Greedy" is what I'd call the answer to Bruno Mars Uptown Funk. This track is most certainly a game changer. Yet it has failed to capture attention from outside the Ari fandom.

5. "Thinking About You"

This track comes at a near perfect tie with "Be Alright" in terms of it's beauty. "Thinking About You" is a heart filled song about those times when we really want someone to be with us, near us and over all in love, but because of the distance or the circumstances it happens to be impossible. From start to finish this song delivers a melody ending the album on a bittersweet end.

Honorable Mentions:

Knew Better/Forever Boy & Knew Better Part Two

This mashup of songs by Ariana Grande provides a different experience. One as equally hypnotic and relatable as the next. With the addition to the second part of "Knew Better" the story changes into a self assured female jam with a nice quick verse of Ari rapping.

In the universe of under appreciated songs Ariana Grande has a plethora of musical hits in need of a good listening too and lots of love.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
