We all have that one best friend where you both have been friends for so long, you both forgot how you became friends in the first place! And since then you both have lip synced countless songs together, watched dozens of movies, and have eaten plenty of junk food together. However, there are some things that separate your friend from your best friend.
1. Always Having Food In Their House
I can't count how many times I've been in my best friends house and sneak a bite of leftovers because you both can't afford takeout and decide to eat at home. You gaze into their fridge and see leftover Chinese from the previous night and have no hesitation in your mind and grab it! And their parents don't care if you raid their fridge because they think of you as their family too.
2. Their Family Loves You Because Your Best Friend Loves You
You don't even ring the doorbell when you walk into your best friends house and you walk around like it's your own home. Their parents don't even bat an eye, and then they ask how you are just like you're part of the family. Hell, even their pets love you! It's the best feeling in the world because you've found people who love you for who you are and have a home outside of home.
3. For "Forgetting" That We Always Owe Each Other Money
You buy each other coffee, you split the cost on lunch, and you buy her that top she wanted but can't afford. Why? Because she's you're other half! Not to mention the very few times you actually have money you want to treat yo self, and treat your best friend so she's automatically included. The extensive mental list of what you two owe each other is long, but you never care because you know that you'll owe each other coffee and trips to the mall until the day you die.
4. For Driving You Everywhere
Even if I can't afford gas, my best friend picks me up without question. You don't owe her gas, and she doesn't even care that she had to go out of her way to pick you up. Even if you're just driving to the beach to take "candid" profile pics.
5. For Scoping Out Cute Guys Wherever We Go
Admit it, when you walk in the mall you peruse the cute guys at the food court and see if anyone's checking you out. If they are, then you immediately become your best friends wingman until you leave the store. Even if it's getting gas together, you guys always make eye contact and check out the same guy and smile to each other.
Even though you both argue, bicker and get irritated because you're practically sisters...you are always there for each other, you do weird stuff together, and you spend money on them (if that's not love, then I don't know what is).
