For many, the middle of the semester can get stressful and as Thanksgiving break rolls around we're jumping at the opportunity to recharge.
Thanksgiving break is our chance to return home to some good food, but while we look forward to escaping papers and exams there are certain situations you can't avoid when every single family member is thrown into one room.
The list below describes the few unavoidable moments we face on Thanksgiving.
1. Mom preparing the house for company.
If Mom isn't happy, no one is. If you can't clean it you might as well say "screw it" because all hope is gone.
2. Socializing with the one relative no one can stand.
There is always that ONE family member......
3. Food coma.
GET YOUR STRETCHY PANTS READY because there will be endless amounts of food coming your way!
4. Family shenanigans.
Whether it's your cousins or your crazy uncle, someone is always up to no good when it comes to holidays.
5. Dealing with annoying questions.
"How's school going?" "Oh, you know..."
"How's your social life?!" "Good.."
"What are you doing here?!!?" "I CAME TO EAT FOOD STOP QUESTIONING ME!"
No matter your situation, holiday breaks always fly by quicker than we realize and we don't have to deal with these things again until the next family reunion.
