In college, there are a lot of people who just don't care when it comes to their appearances (I myself am one of them), especially during the early hours of the weekends. If you walk into a dining hall on Sunday mornings, you will see all types of people and it is quiet entertaining to people watch.
Here are the 5 types of people I see most often on Sunday mornings:
1. The "Dress Up"-ers
Regardless of the day, you'll always find those people who have their life together. On Sunday afternoon in particular, these people often get up early, take a shower, dress up in business casual, go to church, and do their homework ALL before coming to eat brunch. They sit and laugh at all the people in the dining hall who just rolled out of bed.
2. The "Workout"-ers
Whether it's your athlete or dedicated intramural teammate, these people are always ready for the day ahead of them whether they want to or not. They are getting their needed meal in them before heading to practice or their game. Although they may not want to workout for several hours, they don't have a choice. These type of people sometimes question why they are constantly so busy and stare at the "I'm Not Hungover, I'm Just Lazy"-ers in awe wishing they could sleep in till noon just once.
3. The "Hungover"-ers
Yup, these people just woke up, took a walk of shame, possibly changed their clothes to baggy sweatpants and a big sweatshirt, then headed to the dining hall with their pals to talk about the adventures they had the night before. The dark circles around their eyes and smell of alcohol of their bodies tell you everything you need to know.
Also, they might just be doing water shots from their heavy dehydration from the night before.
4. The "I'm Not Hungover, I'm Just Lazy"-ers
Wearing snuggies, pajamas, and slippers - these are the best kind of people. They don't care what others think of them and are just happy they woke up before brunch ended. Luckily enough for them, they are going straight back to bed after eating.
5. The "College Visit"-ers
Honestly, I feel real bad for these people. They wander the dining hall looking at all of the college students wondering what the heck happened to them last night. It probably looks like a zoo to these high schoolers as this is not what they typically see in high school. They see the best AND the worst of people on Sunday mornings, but are secretly excited for this to happen to themselves... well maybe.
